How to Hide the Games You Play on Steam

Hide played games from your Steam profile
Your Steam profile page usually lists all the games you’ve played and shows you how many hours you’ve spent in all of them, with a focus on what you’ve played in the last two weeks.

Steam profiles used to be public by default, but Valve made them private by default. However, you may have made it public with a third-party service that reads information from your Steam profile, such as if is there any deal, which scans your wish list for games and tells you if they are sold on other game stores.
To access your Steam profile, hover over your username in the top bar and click Profile.
Click the “Edit Profile” button on the right side of the page to edit your profile.
Click “Privacy Settings” on the left side of the page to find your Steam profile privacy settings.
Adjust your privacy settings here to control what people can see. To hide gameplay, you have two options.
To hide gameplay information, set Game Info to Private. Even your friends won’t be able to see the games you play, the games you own, or the games you’ve added to your wishlist. They can still see your friends list, inventory, comments, and other information, depending on the options you choose on this page.
You can also just hide everything by setting “My Profile” to “Private”. If you do this, no one will be able to see your entire profile page. You can also select “Friends Only” and only your Steam friends will be able to see your profile.
Hide Game Activity from Steam Chat
If you’re a bit confused by the game you’re currently playing, you might not care if it’s listed on your profile page, but you don’t want all your friends to be notified that you’ve started playing the game or see that you play on her friend’s list – you can go offline or become invisible in Steam chat.
To do this, click on the “Friends” button in the upper left corner of the Steam window and select “Offline” or “Invisible”.
Alternatively, you can click “Friends and Chat” in the bottom right corner to open the Steam Chat window.
Then click on the little chevron (like an arrow without a tail) next to your username. Select “Invisible” or “Offline” from the drop-down menu.
Hide or remove games from your Steam library
